​Homemaker Personal Care (HPC)
Homemaker/Personal Care, often called HPC, supports a person to be more independent while meeting their daily living needs.  Homemaker/personal care advances the individual’s independence within his/her home and community and helps the individual meet daily living needs.  Examples of supports include:
  •  Self-Advocacy training to assist the expression of personal preferences, asserting rights, and making increasingly responsible choices,
  •  Self-Direction making decisions and choices affecting the individual’s life, Daily Living Skills including training in and providing assistance with meal preparation, personal care, self-administration of medication,
  •  Implementation of recommended therapeutic interventions under the direction of a professional or extension of therapeutic services, which consist of reinforcing physical, occupational, speech, and other therapeutic programs, Behavioral support strategies including training and assistance in appropriate expressions of emotions, assertiveness, or acquisition of socially appropriate behaviors,
  • Emergency response training including development of responses in case of emergencies, prevention planning, and training in the use of equipment or technologies,
  • Community access services that explore community services available to all people, and activities needed by the individual to be integrated in and have more access to the community,
  • Medical and health care services such as routine medication reminders or tending to the needs of individuals who are ill or require attention to the medical needs on an ongoing basis
  • When provided with other components of homemaker/personal care, assist with personal finances

Residential Respite
This service pays for a person to receive support when their regular caregiver, paid or unpaid is not available or needs a break.

On-Site On-Call (OSOC)
"On-site/on-call" is a service authorized when no need for supervision or supports is anticipated because the individual is expected to be asleep for a continuous period of no less than five hours, and a provider must be present and readily available to provide homemaker/personal care if an unanticipated need arises but is not required to remain awake.

HPC Transportation
HPC Transportation can be used for community activities, accessing waiver services, and completing daily living tasks. This is typically used in conjunction with homemaker personal care services to get to and from activities with a provider.

Non-Medical Transportation (NMT)
Non-Medical Transportation assists a person with transportation to their day services, employment services, or places of employment. 

Cleaning
Basic cleaning services are regular, routine cleaning tasks that maintain a home's general cleanliness and appearance. They focus on high-use areas and visible surfaces to keep living spaces tidy and hygienic.

Money Management
Through this service, a direct service provider can help a person with managing their personal finances, like writing checks, paying bills, and keeping track of cash, income, or benefits. The service also includes training to assist a person to acquire, retain, or improve those skills.

Career Planning Assistance
Career Planning helps people find jobs in the community and includes services to help a person. This service is intended to be time-limited and personalized to support people in reaching their community employment goals. Career Planning can lead directly to employment through job development and can be provided in conjunction with other services.

Dating Coach
A developmental disabilities dating coach is a specialized support service that teaches, models, and guides adults and adolescents with intellectual or developmental disabilities to build safe, healthy, and meaningful romantic and social relationships. The service blends skill-building, individualized coaching, advocacy, and practical supports to help clients learn dating skills, understand consent and boundaries, navigate online and in‑person dating, and pursue relationship goals with dignity and autonomy.

Dietician Consulting
A dietician consulting service is a professional engagement where a registered dietitian or registered dietitian nutritionist provides expert nutrition assessment, advice, planning, and implementation support to individuals, groups, organizations, or facilities on a contractual or advisory basis. The service focuses on translating evidence-based nutrition science into practical, individualized, or system-level solutions that improve health, performance, safety, and operational outcomes.

​Purchasing Agent

The Provider will purchase supplies, goods, equipment, and services on behalf of the participant with developmental disabilities. This service is charged to the participant’s Individual Budget and in accordance with applicable program rules.

Travel Care Companion
A travel care companion is a person who accompanies and supports a traveler with health, mobility, cognitive, or personal-care needs during all or part of a trip, combining the roles of companion and caregiving aide. They provide practical assistance (mobility help, medication reminders, personal care, monitoring), travel‑task support (airport navigation, check‑ins, transportation coordination), and social or emotional companionship to ensure safety, comfort, and dignity while traveling.
